Monte Xanic Syrah '09
Appearance: Dark red color with streaks of violet with a good concentration. Nose: Intense and highly complex, emphasizing blackberries and cherries, with a floral touch accompanied by toast and spices flavors. Mouth: Solid structure and high intensity of mature fruit, spices and toasted oak flavors.
Valle de Guadalupe
Very good deep red color, nice aromas and complex flavor with excellent body. It's a perfectly balanced wine with strong tannins but well flush that don't feel aggressive in the mouth.
Food Pairing Notes
It goes well old cuts and cheeses, but it certainly would be better to accompany a meat, perhaps medallions with pepper. Big flavors of brisket, stew, beef steak, lamb, venison, pork chops if the sauce is not acidic.
